  • A Photograph which is lesser than 30 Kb in size and mentions your name as well as the date on which it was taken at the bottom.
  • A Scanned signature which should be in JPG format and lesser than 20 Kb in size. 

Input your personal details accurately as mentioned in your identity proofs. Then, create a User ID and Password to complete the process. Upon successful registration, you will receive a text on your contact number with your login credentials. Verify your registered mobile number and you are good to go!

After Login:

Enter your User ID and password to log in; you will a reach a page that will ask you for more details. Entering your qualifications on this page is a must if you wish to be notified of all appropriate job vacancies.

Kerala PSC One Time Registration: Doubts and Answers

Kerala PSC introduced One-time registration process in 2012. All the candidates can write a PSC examination only after completing the one-time registration. After the successful completion of the registration through the PSC website, the candidates would get a user ID and password. We can make our own password and User ID. By using this one can enter into his profile in the Kerala PSC site and know about the notifications, announcements, probability list, short list...The candidates can submit their online application for different PSC tests through this profile. We can download PSC hall tickets from this profile. While the online registration one should enter his personal details, contact information, qualifications, experience details in the profile. Steps to do One Time Registration of KPSC:
  • Arrange your photograph (digital form) with following features.

How to find out the lost password

If our password to enter into the one-time registration profile had lost you can find it out by messaging an SMS in particular format to the PSC number. This mobile number from which you send that SMS should be same to the number you had entered while the registration process. If you have no this number now you should contact directly to the nearest PSC office to get the password. You have no right to register again in the PSC site.

How to enter name and date on the uploaded photograph


The candidates should enter their name and date on the photo which uploads to the PSC site while the one-time registration process. You can type the name and date on the photo with the help of a digital photographer or computer expert.

If your photo has no date and name or either of them you cannot print the hall ticket with the photograph which includes the date and name. If the hall ticket contains this type of photo a candidate cannot attend a PSC test. If you had uploaded a photo without the name or date you should do it fast before you apply for any exam of KPSC.

How to edit the one-time registration profile

If any candidates have to correct anything in his profile, he can do it easily. After entering to the one-time registration link through the KPSC Thulasi site you can see a button 'edit'. Click on that and enter the correct information in the proper place and save.

Why PSC rejects a photo with the name

Kerala PSC would reject a person's application without a proper reason. If PSC rejects an application even it include the photo with the name and date there will be a reason. If the hall ticket has a photo without a name or date the candidate's application will reject by PSC and he cannot attend the test. Even though he attended the exam, during certificate verification the authority will recognize this mistake and that candidate will not get a place in the shortlist.  So the candidates should take a print out of the details which he entered in the profile including the uploaded photo during the one-time registration process. It is the only evidence you can show as a proof for the photo with the name and date.

How to edit the educational qualification 


In the one-time registration profile, one can edit his qualification details when he acquires a new one. After entering into the profile by typing the User ID and the password you can see your profile on the screen. Click on the 'edit' button to add new qualifications. If you face any difficulty with this, you can do this by submitting suitable certificates in the nearby PSC office. They will help you to edit the educational qualification.

How to change the uploaded signature

If there is any need for uploading a new signature to the one-time registration process, contact nearby PSC office and do the correction.

How to renew the uploaded photograph

Scan the new photograph with particular specifications. It would have the name and date. Edit the existing photo with the new one

Instructions To Upload Photograph in www.keralapsc.gov.in

Kerala PSC application process needs one-time registration, that is valid from 1-1-2012 in public service commission's official website www.keralapsc.gov.in. Below you can get some important instructions for uploading your photo for one-time registration.


Step By Step Instructions To Upload Photograph in www.keralapsc.gov.in:

  • The photograph must have applicant,s name and the date on which the photo had taken.
  • The photograph should be taken within one year. This uploading photo will have 10-year validity.
  • It is essential to upload a passport size color/ black and white photograph in which the candidate's face and shoulder must be clear.
  • The background of the photo should be in light color or white. The applicant should wear a light color dress in the photo.
  • The face should be straight and in the middle of the photo. The KPSC don't motivate to add photos those have to face is not clear
  • Eyes should be clear. 
  • The uploading photo to the KPSC official website should be in between 200-pixel h* 150-pixel win size, It must be in JPG format and not exceed 30 KB file size.
  • The applicant should not wear sunglass/ cap in the photo. 
  • If there is any religious symbols on the body like that are considering on the basis of some instructions.
